Here in Malta, the hype did not come to an end right after hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, it is still going on and will continue up till next Saturday. This is due to the fact that the tiny nation in the middle of the Mediterranean will have a representative for the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Vienna, Austria. Without a doubt, it goes without saying that rehearsals are in full swing and the Shipbuilding has never looked so beautiful and energetic, except for last Saturday.

After three days of rehearsals, each and every singer had two (2) rehearsals. Therefore we have seen the twenty (20) competitors twice on the magnificent stage presented to Europe last weekend. Later on this morning, a couple of hours before the actual show commences, there is the dress rehearsal which will allow all the singers to utilise the stage in the manner that they will during the semi-final stage of the competition which will take place later on in the evening.

The artists, songwriters, producers, and teams are happy with the output, noting that the Public Broadcasting Services have really pulled out all of the stops to ensure that everything is organised in a professional manner. They are happy with their performance, and the way that their song has been brought to life on that massive stage, blending in the right amount of shots, with the perfect backdrop.

We highly recommend that you sit down and enjoy the show, either in the arena or at the comfort of your own home. escflashmalta.com will be on hand to provide song-by-song commentary, courtesy of This email address is being protected from spambots.
