One of the most successful acts of the 2011 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest surely were the dynamic duo known as Jedward who represented Ireland with the song 'Lipstick' ultimately finishing ahead of Blue by virtue of an eight place in the final. The two brothers first found fame in the United Kingdom through the popular television reality series known as the 'X Factor' where their mentor Louis Walsh, an Irish sought to make sure that they were represented well in the competition ultimately reaching the latter stages of the show finishing in sixth place. From then onwards, Louis has continued and took the boys under his wing seeking European fame and fortune. Following a disappointing record as released with Sony Music Ireland, he swapped them labels taking them to Universal Music Ireland and the boys have become massive.

When the Irish broadcaster announced the selection process as being similar to the one last year with the inclusion of different mentors, it was not a strange idea to put their names forward once more but what seems to be peculiar is their choice of mentor for the competition noting that Linda Martin, the 1992 winner of the same event took them under her guidance hoping to win the Late Late Show Eurosong special. The song which they will be performing is entitled 'What's Your Number?'. One of the composers on the track is the Swede Nick Jarl who has most recently worked with the Irish group Westlife who are now just about ready to kick off their final tour as they part ways by mid-year of course. He has also worked with the A*Teens amongst other people and therefore such a successful individual might prove to have an astounding song. Many who have heard it behind the doors say it is a cracker of a pop song which will surely be enjoyed by the masses.
