Janice Mangion, one of Malta’s leading vocalists, a solo singer in her own right, and also a member of the Animae Gospel Choir has recently launched her debut single, an r’n’b soul ballad with a pulsing beat entitled “Burnin”, composed by Elton Zarb and penned by Emil Calleja Bayliss.

In the initial stages of the creative process, Janice sought a meaningful message, one which helps those who find themselves in moments of despair, thinking that their faith has abandoned them completely. This, accompanied by her soulful voice creates an exceptionally beautiful song. Aiding in the recorded was the talented Angela Spiteri who provided a strong backing vocal.

“Burnin”, which is available from streaming and purchase on all major digital platforms has been released through CAP Sounds, a record label based in Germany with full distribution handled by Universal Music Germany. Manfred Holz of the aforementioned company stated ‘Janice has an incredible vocal range which we are proud to represent, and we believe that “Burnin” showcases her talent in the best possible way’.

In support of the single, which was officially released on Friday 23rd September, Janice Mangion and her team, led by Marc Calleja Bayliss of Ironic PR & Artist Management thought it best to work on a lyric video, commissioning visionaries Angie and Duane Laus, with the result officially made public on Thursday 29th September.

You can steam or purchase the song, or else view the lyric video through either Janice Mangion’s Official Facebook or Twitter pages or else on: http://janicemangion.believeband.com.

Janice Mangion would like to thank everyone who has supported the release of this song from day one, and would like to thank her team of sponsors, and also the media outlets who have been in touch to help in any way. We urge you to stay tuned to escflashmalta.com even through Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news about the local music scene.

Claudia Faniello, a female singer/songwriter who requires no introduction whatsoever, having made her mark in the local music scene by partaking in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest on various occasions, finishing as the 1st runner-up in 2008 and 2012, is back with a new single. “You Said”, which she penned herself is particularly striking for its sense of emotion and ambiance, combining several elements which the people have come to enjoy in a new sound which is bound to receive a positive response.

‘I’m thrilled to release “You Said” because it is another tune which is nothing like I’ve done in the past and it talks about a situation that everyone can relate to. I have taken my time to concentrate on this particular tune which is close to my heart; I want to tell stories through my music. This is a taste of what I’ve been working on and evolving into’, commented Claudio Faniello, in light of her new release, the follow-up to “Miles Away”, a song which she co-wrote with Ryan Magro.

In support of “You Said”, a music video has been launched, which could be seen on her YouTube Channel, along with any other previous original material. Slovakia: Brand New Single Release by Mista

Mista, runner-up of the Slovakian national selection in 2010 with Emotions has just released a brand new single entitled Go Wild written by The Force, a team of well known producers from the United States of America. It has been executively produced by Stano Simor, one of the professional individuals assigned by escflashmalta.com to review the songs in contention at this years' edition of the Eurovision Song Contest as well as a juror in the early round of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest.

Supported by CAP-Sounds and Universal Music Germany, Mista is a true inspiration for several artists from the Eastern part of the continent where it could be slightly difficult to catch a break in the industry. Since trying to represent Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest, she has gone onto release several hit singles including Rock It!, Never Hide, Cash Out and Feel the Breeze whilst garnering acclaim well beyond this continent, being in demand for concerts and appearances in China.

Mista has confirmed in recent months that she has been approached to represent different countries at the international event but cites being too busy for the time being. She still hopes to honour a country in the near future, something which she had also said during a promotional visit to Malta a couple of years back. Follow all the latest news about Mista through her official website and stay tuned tuned to escflashmalta.com for more tidbits.

Professionalism is the key to success in the music industry and one of the artists who has definitely showed strength and compassion in returning to what he does best is Fabrizio Faniello, the man who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest on two separate and distinct occasions; in 2001 with the track Another Summer Night finishing in ninth place and in 2006 with the song I Do finishing in a languishing bottom position which many somewhat disagree with nevertheless. Following a couple of months and years away from the music scene in order to settle a number of issues, the male performer returned with a bang at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the track No Surrender which later on throughout the year would also become the lead single off his latest album of the same. The compilation features tracks written by local and foreign writers but then again, one of the songs, a cover of the Toše Proeski hit; The Hardest Thing stands out from the rest for the sheer power that Fabrizio has given it. The song which was the last single from the Balkan performer and was written by Wayne Hector, Elliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow of Take That fame, was also set to launch the artist but unfortunately, he passed away far too quickly. escflashmalta.com has the pleasure to exclusively reveal the video for Fabrizio's version of The Hardest Thing thanks to CAP-Sounds, Universal Music Germany and Spectre Media.

Since returning back to music, Fabrizio has shown clear dedication in this respective field, launching a brand new solo career in Asia where he has become a star in the likes of Indonesia after releasing his debut album over there, a compilation of hits from his last couple of albums in the official language of the respective country. Nevertheless, his fan base in Europe has never forgotten him and he has been invited to attend two spectacular OGAE Meetings in the next couple of weeks; the first one being held in the town of Bologna, Italy on the 27th October and the second one being that organised in the city of Cologne, Germany on the 24th November. The editorial team of escflashmalta.com has also spoke to Fabrizio to learn the idea behind releasing this song as his latest single considering that it is a cover and this is what he had to tell us 'This is coming at a right time in my life as really I am going through something similar of what the song is talking about. I’m honoured that I’m singing a Gary Barlow song and thanks & respect to Toše who walked away too early…' Fabrizio Faniello maintains an outstanding reputation by virtue of putting the past behind him and looks towards the future. He is always described as a hard working performer by his manager; Manfred Holz of CAP-Sounds, based in Germany under the watchful eye of Universal Music Germany. It is yet unconfirmed on whether he will be submitting any tracks to the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 but stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for more news.
