Airport Impressions, the all male band which comprises of Errol Sammut, Chris Curmi, Johann Schembri and Steve Farrugia first came to prominence following the release of their debut studio collection, Minutes of a Lifetime which also included a series of hit songs including; Freedom, Elusive and Borderline, all of which had received significant airplay and thus a major starring role on leading radio stations. It has been three years since the release of the collection though and it seems that the group have been on hiatus as of late but nevertheless with Howard Keith as manager and producer, that break does eventually come to an end as ideas are transformed into melodies, harmonies and lyrics.

During the Għaxaq Music Festival, Airport Impressions unveiled some of the material that they have been working on in the studio and one could honestly feel a bit of Mumford and Sons as they performed Wishing Well, Berlin, and Starsigns to a crowd craving new material. This year, Errol Sammut was also part of the set-up at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest having composed the track When It's Time performed by Claudia Faniello. It is important to denote that the sound was significantly different from what has been seen from the female artist but nevertheless, suited her perfectly. They are currently working together on a series of tracks as Claudia Faniello prepares the release of her sophomore album. With regards to the yet-untitled project by Airport Impressions, Errol stated on stage that the album will be published within the next couple of months. Stay tuned to for all of the latest news.
