Kaya (otherwise known as Priscilla Psaila), has recently been in touch with the editorial team at escflashmalta.com in order to reveal that her students; Amy, Rihana and Elisa finished in 2nd place with "Tre Bambole", an original song composed by the aforementioned Kaya, with lyrics by Christopher Azzopardi, and Shaian Debono finished in 1st place with "Nessun Dorma" at the 'Cantagiro Music Festival' in Italy, in which Malta was taking part in for the second consecutive year.

In the senior portion of the competition, Phylisienne Brincat finished in 2nd place, ahead of Graziella Vella in 3rd place, the latter also being a student of Kaya. Success is ingrained in music where Malta is concerned and a positive outlook is definitely on the cards as these young performers grow to make up the local music scene. Last but not least, Singer Stage Academy was awarded with a prize for presenting excellent talent during the competition. On behalf of the editorial team, we would like to congratulate the winners circle, and urge you to stay tuned to escflashmalta.com even through Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news about such international events.
