The Team of Radio International is back following yet another enchanting visit to Germany due to the fact that ARD were hosting the national selection, the first one we have attended since the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. We would like to invite you to the weekly Ultimate Eurovision Experience. Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via and on Digital Cable 781 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via the Radio International TV Channel from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. The simulcast will be from 2000 – 2300 hours CET when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry.

Last years' edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest produced a star in the form of Amber, who then went onto join Kurt Calleja abroad as a backing vocalist. She returned this time round with quite a lot of hype surrounding her participants and with the snazzy jazzy In Control composed by Paul Giordimaina and penned by Fleur Balzan. It might not have been meant to be but with the support of the public and the jury, she managed to finish in fourth place and therefore, kept within the placing she received the previous year, roundabout. Within this interview, Amber spoke about her recent experiences within the world of the Eurovision Song Contest and what lies ahead as her career in music continues to progress in a natural manner.

In the meantime, the interviews continue with the fifth place finisher at the 2013 Malta Eurovision Song Contest in the form of Chris Grech whose entry Never Walk Away co-written with Peter Borg, Matthew James Borg and David Cassar Torreggianni. The public were seemingly all out in favour of Chris Grech and as a matter of fact put the performer in third place on the evening with the jury taking him down to fifth place, this being their verdict. The singer was also the leader of the Public Choice Award in the lead up to the competition and expected to be announced as the winner this Saturday through Sas-Sitta. Chris speaks to Radio International about his background in music and how he came to take part in this competition. What experience could he draw and how will eventually move forward.

Moving away from Malta, members of the Team of Radio International were present during the German national final and had the opportunity to speak with Cascada's lead singer, Natalie Horler who will be represent the Western country in the Eurovision Song Contest following the victory with the track Glorious which has been received a lot of negative press in recent days of reports of plagiarism. The renowned group has been around for quite a couple of years and have had success all over the world including the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States. The fourth and final interview of the evening will be LIVE during the programme and it will be with Zoe Alexis who is hoping to represent Ireland with the track Fire.

Radio International is always keen to present songs during the show apart from the weekly features and therefore, collaborating the two ideas together will see the emergence of Eurovision UnverCover whereas tracks performed at the Eurovision Song Contest will be covered by other singers. The actual tracks will be played first followed by the cover and this will make things interesting. Apart from this feature, there will be new material played on the show by a number of former representatives. All of the latest news is also covered during the weekly broadcast noting resources from and escXtra where Luke Fisher, the Editor makes a weekly round-up. A round up of the national finals thus far is set to be conducted by Alasdair Rendall. Follow the show through the official website and also send your requests through the contact link which is found on the aforementioned website.
