Throughout the past couple of years, the international version of Idol has proven valuable to the respective music industries due to the fact that brand new artists were uncovered leading successful careers and pleasing the people with their music. One of such individuals is surely Agnes Carlsson, the winner of the second edition of the Swedish Idol series who would ultimately go onto reach the charts in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands and also the United Kingdom. She has long become known for her signature pop songs with a hint of dance, electro and disco in most of them apart whilst doing ballads, something which her vocal range has also become accustomed to perform in the past couple of months.

Her third and last album to date bearing the name Dance Pop Love was not as successful as her two previous long plays but nevertheless, the European release did span on for quite some time and she released five singles, the last being Sometimes I Forget which peaked in the top ten in both France and Belgium, where they were released. Sweden at this time was under the watchful eye of many noting the marriage of the Crown Princess of Sweden and due to the astonishing success of Agnes on a European front, she was called onto sing an original song alongside Björn Skifs entitled When You Tell The World You're Mine. Since then though, Agnes has been relatively quiet and she returns to the music scene with a brand new track which is being heavily tipped as the first single off her new album.

The song which is entitled One Last Time is a different kind of ballad which should be well appreciated by her fans. She has already been promoting the song noting a live performance at the popular Allsång på Skansen as shown on SVT. Readers should also remember, that Agnes did try to go to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 with the track Love Love Love finishing in eight place behind the likes of Malena Ernman, Alcazar and Mans Zelmerow amongst others. Stay tuned to for more news about eurostars in the coming days, weeks and months.
