'The Celebrity Night' is a weekly television programme which has become somewhat synonymous with Saturday evening, is broadcast on F Living Channel. The series which officially kicked off at the beginning of October revolves around the one-to-one interviews, which speak of class, decadence and wit, and have become synonymous with Deo Grech's presenting style. Janice Mangion, an exceptional female vocalist, whose emergence onto the local music circuit was established through "L-Isfida", a talent show which brought together the three artistic disciplines; singing, dancing, and acting, in hope of finding a true all-rounder. The music video was shot entirely at So City Club, Paceville courtesy of Graham Testa. The location fits perfectly with the theme and genre of the song, thus making it a dance floor filler in order to appeal to various teenagers, whilst highlighting a new direction in Stefan Galea's career. The setup of the music video is very diverse, thus making it unique and special. It portrays different characters in the club scene, with a spectacular team of break-dancers, choreographed by Peter Ray Portelli (Waterfall Dance Company). Stefan is currently busy performing…

It is fair to say that musicians have a yearning to record an album while active in the music industry, and although this feat is not easy to achieve, it is not impossible. This statement is echoed by several, but most recently by Nadine Axisa, a veteran female singer whose work in the festival circuit has been well documented throughout the past twenty years. “Velvet”, a subtle name which evokes a sense of peace and tranquility is the name that the female artist chose to name her debut album, a collection of 12 original songs, all of which are ‘jazz-infused’. 12 months on, and Nadine Axisa is still riding high on the positive critical acclaim received, so much so, that the project has led to the release of a music video, this time for the song “Stormy Night” with music and lyrics by Kris Spiteri. The professional cut is mainly…
Andy Shaw, a skilled 14-year old male singer/songwriter whose breakthrough appearance was at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a special guest, and Gaia Cauchi, a female singer/songwriter best known for winning the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with "The Start" co-written with Elton Zarb, Gillian Attard and Matthew Mercieca (Muxu), have decided to share their mutual love towards music, by recording "Love Me Like You Do", a song from the highly acclaimed motion picture 'Fifty Shades of Grey' as a duet. Recorded, mixed and produced by Cyprian Cassar at Tenishia Studios, the release of "Love Me Like You Do" is supported with a monochromatic music video, specifically created by Joseph Agius to reflect the lyrical context of the song. "Love Me Like You Do", written by Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Ali Payami and Tove Nilsson is an emotional ballad which would be best described as synthpop,…

On the 21st March, L-Għanja tal-Poplu took place at Sir Temi Żammit Hall, at the University of Malta, under the stewardship of Ryan Borg and Angie Laus. Broadcasted LIVE through Radju Malta, with guest commentator Tony Micallef, and airing on Television Malta 2 on the 31st March, the competing entries bore an intriguing mixture of recurrent social themes, some which relate to the masses, and others which are more individually specific.
