The result achieved in the competition is yet another transcending thought that Malta is one of the most successful countries with regards to evergreen and upcoming talent. The special accolade which was given to the young performer was actually the Public Award which was somewhat recognized through a series of voting made by the people. The track she performed was an original song entitled I Can't Stop Thinking of You written by Philip Vella.

Grecia Bezzina is not a completely new individual in the local music scene having been in the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza alongside her brother Dario within the performance of the song Nagħmlu Deal as well as making the semi-final of the Malta Song for Europe back in 2009 with the track Fjamma tas-Sliem. Nevertheless, her most successful appearance came earlier this year when the performer showing her drastic makeover made it to the finals of the Għanja tal-Poplu competition with the song Tal-Komma Twila composed by Dario Bezzina and penned by escflashmalta.com editor Emil Calleja Bayliss reaching second place. In February, Francesca Borg decided she could use the stunning range of the performer as a backing vocalist for her track Take Me Far which received huge praise from music critics and online reporters.
