Ben Camille and Valerie Vella will be hosting the 14th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which is taking place in Valletta, Malta on the 20th November at the Mediterranean Conference Centre.

Ben Camille, started out as a model, before turning his attention to acting taking on a lead role on the popular television series “Strada Stretta”. In recent months, following his successful hosting of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016, he has also been asked to host the television programme, “Twelveto3” taking over from Malta Eurovision Song Contest finalist, Corazon Mizzi.

On the other hand, Valerie Vella is a seasoned female host, having been asked to host the national final for the senior edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on three occasions, the most recent being in 2011, been the spokesperson giving out the points and also serving as the Head of Press in one of the Advisory Teams that had been appointed to oversee Malta’s participation.

We're not done yet though, as the hosts of the red carpet and the opening ceremony will be none other than two female actresses whose star has been on the rise in recent years: Taryn Mamo Cefai and Larissa Bonaci. We are more than sure that they will be up to the task at hand.

We urge you to stay tuned to escflashmalta.com even through Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news about the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and Malta’s participation with Christina Magrin and her entry “Parachute”.

Over the past couple of years, there has been renewed interest in the local music scene and this is due to the major advancements made in the production session which has seen songs taking up more of an international feel with the possibility of being sent abroad to a number of music stations with the top of airplay. The success of the likes of Chiara, Ira Losco, Winter Moods, Fabrizio Faniello, Airport Impressions, Red Electrick, Joseph Calleja and Tenishia amongst others give hope that one can achieve in the industry they put their heart and soul in. One of the singers who is hoping to succeed is none other than upcoming Adie who has already worked with one of the leading rappers in the country; Hooligan apart from taking up the best video award through the Mużika Mod Ieħor series of podcasts as hosted by music expert; Toni Sant.

The brand new single entitled Cry For You stays true to the music that Adie has performed in recent years but this particular track has more of a kick than expected featuring a vocal style of rhythm and blues apart from keeping the tempo slow in the form of a ballad. The mixture of the two represents an urban modern style which is well and truly appreciated by the audiences in Malta. The launch took place about three weeks ago within a leading wine-bar in the country at the Valletta, Waterfront and there was quite a number of high profile people in the entertainment industry including Antonella Vassallo, Julie Pomorski, Angela Agius, Lara Azzopardi and Ben Camille amongst others. The latter two were also the stars of the video which you can see below. Keep tuning into www.escflashmalta.com for all the latest news about the local artists.
