Norway: Tone and Eric Record Video for ImagineWritten by Marc Calleja Bayliss
Several people speak about their respective music industry but then again, there is one particular chain of nations who work closely together, creating a similar sound to succeed in round about five countries, those in Scandinavia, separately referred to as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. Two particular artists who have enjoyed success from such a system are definitely Tone Damli Aaberge who people should remember from the Melodi Grand Prix back in 2009 with the track Butterflies and also Eric Saade whose second runner-up finish at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the track Popular was just the beginning of even more success. The two have joined forced on a brand new song entitled Imagine released on the album Looking Back by Tone.
The brand new album which basically features all of her hits along with a couple of new tracks is a must have indeed but this new single is something different especially being such a collaborative effort. The track is currently being promoted in both Sweden and Norway with the two artists going around the two countries on radio shows and giving live performances hoping that this will be one of the most played songs during the summer months. Their more recent performance was at the Allsång På Grensen which is shown on TV4, home of the Swedish Idol competition. You can view the track through the official preview video released earlier this week below.
